Riverside County, CA
What's the most logical name for a city located alongside a river?
Why, "Riverside," of course! And that's exactly how our beloved area got its name. We're located about 50 miles East of DTLA, and many are surprised to find out that we're actually considered to be part of the Great Los Angeles Area.
It's a well-known fact that Riverside is the most densely populated city in the Inland Empire area, but it's also the 12th most populous city in the state of California itself.
The Inland Empire is definitely hotter than some of the most coastal cities of Southern California. So most people automatically think of "desert" when they think of Riverside. But this city actually has some incredible greenery! The Riverside Tree Care Company is proud to offer premium tree services to our community here in Riverside. Together, we are keeping this city beautiful.
Our Favorite Spots in Riverside
When we're not out trimming trees, you might catch us out and about at some of our favorite spots.
(Or who knows, you might finding us trimming trees at some of our favorite spots, too.)
For a nice family outing, Mount Rubidoux Trail has always been a favorite for our crew. Of course, if you don't feel like breaking a sweat that day or you have your smaller children with you, there's still plenty of beauty to marvel at while you're taking it easy on the less demanding trails.
Museum of Riverside
The Museum of Riverside (formerly known as the Riverside Metropolitan Museum) was established in 1924. It's changed locations since, but the cultural and historical value that it adds to the city of Riverside cannot be overstated. If you're an architecture buff, you might know that the current building is designed in the Neo-Classical style. If you ask us, it's one of the most beautiful bildings in the whole county.
UC Riverside Botanic Gardens
It's probably no shock to you that the Tree Company would list a botanic garden amongst our favorite places. But can you blame us!? 40 acres of gardens with more than 3,000 plant species from all over the planet. That's a lot of greenery and plant life to appreciate. We admire whoever does their landscaping for how well-kept the grounds are. Walking through there is like taking a stroll through paradise.
Riverside Fox Theater
The Riverside Fox Theater (also known as the Fox Performing Arts Center) is located at the heart of the city of Riverside, in the downtown area. It was built in 1929, but the beautiful building that you see nowadays is the result of a renovation that was completed in 2009.
Fun fact about this theater: it was the first theater to screen the most successful film in box-office history (when adjusted for inflation) Gone With the Wind in the year 1939.
